Attachments / Accessories
KNEE  :  The knee is well braced by internal partition walls giving it in the greatest stability. In all respects, it has been carefully designed with wide slide surfaces which gives a rigid support to saddle and table. The Vertical screw for raising and lowering is provided with Thrust bearing for taking the vertical load. The Feed Gear Box is built on side of the Knee.

HEADSTOCK  :  The Milling spindle is fitted with Two Taper Roller Bearings. The different spindle speeds which are in geometrical progression are obtained by means of sliding gears. All Headstock Gears are of special alloy steel run in Oil bath, hence wear and tear is minimum. The table screw has a Gun-metal nut which minimizes the wear & tear. The table screw is mounted on the thrust and ball bearings which also takes the axial load of the screw.

BASE  :  The base which is heavy also serves as a coolant tank.

COLUMN  :  The column is very rigid and all guides are hand scrapped to give accurate results.
