RIGIDITY
AND HEAVY DUTY PERFORMANCE : Double column
construction for rigidity. Light and sensitive centering of
arm.
Generously proportioned arm adequately ribbed for maximum stiffness.
4.8/6.1 hp two-speed motor provided for adequate drilling
power.
Hardened and ground spindle. Supported in high precision
pre-loaded, self-aligning double-row ball bearing to withstand
heavy axial loads. Amply proportioned arm guide surface precision-ground to
provide smooth movement of drilling head.
BUILT-IN ACCURACY : Precision depth control device
with automatic stop at pre-set depth.
Major castings of IS 20/25 grade, seasoned and stress
relieved.
Spindle sleeve guided closely in honed headstock bore.
Precision ground spindle sleeve, hardened and ground gears for
minimum wear & tears.
All components precision machined on imported mother machines.
Smooth swinging of arm round column with arm sleeve on ball
bearings against hardened ring on the column.
VERSATILITY : 12 speeds in either directions.
Six auto feeds and fine feed by hand wheel.
Single lever control for rapid spindle reversal for tap withdrawal.
Single lever control for locking head on arm, arm on sleeve
and sleeve on fixed column.
Maximum drilling radius 1500/1890/2300
Forced feed lubrication for head stock gears.
Safety mechanism provided against overloading of spindle.
Ergonomically grouped control for ease of operation.
Motor driven elevating mechanism for arm.
INTERCHANGEABILITY : All components machined using
jigs and fixtures on imported Mother Machines to close
tolerances thus providing easy interchangeability. |
