The EPB Series Press Brake has a solid and rigid frame designed
to ensure minimum deflection under heavy loads.
- The position of the Press Beam continuously monitored by a measuring
system.
- The Measuring System consists of a transducer mounted on a separate
measuring which is fixed to the machine table.
- The Electronic Scales, which are fixed to the press beam on either
side of the Press, provide a continuous feed back to the CNC
Controller about the actual position of the Press beam relative
to the table.
- The transducer is fitted to a separate measuring frame hence the
scale read are totally unaffected by the actual load on the frame.
- The parallelism and the penetration of upper tool in the die is
accurate +/-0.01 mm irrespective of the actual load on machine.
- The Electronic Monitoring system allows repeatability of successive
strokes within the same accuracy. This feature also allows
correction of the Y-Axis under full pressure as in bending.
- Eccentric load, while bending short sheet off the centre of the
machine, does not effect the quality or accuracy of the Press.
- The use of proportional Hydraulics ensures exact force required
by the job, as calculated by the CNC Controller, is exerted.
Thereby resulting in power saving.
